Many people come across the word ayurveda, both in terms of yoga, health and general body awareness. The perception of what ayurveda is, however, can be vastly different, some associating it with pleasant oil massage at the beach others with natural medicine.
Ayurveda extends far and wide, covering a range of perceptions about our body, mind and life as a whole, but basically ayurveda can be used as a manual for the body and mind that you are born with. Ayurveda can help us better understand our own personality and how it interacts with others and life itself.
In this workshop you will be introduced to the traditional Ayurvedic principles and how they are deeply rooted in yoga. Whether you know Ayurveda or it’s something completely new to you, you leave the workshop with a basic understanding that you can transfer to your own life and in your yoga practice. Throughout the workshop, you will use yourself as an example so that it also becomes a personal learning process.
The workshop is conducted in easy-to-understand English, and you do not need to have experience with Ayurveda to participate, just the desire and curiosity to learn. The workshop is for men and women of all ages who are curious about all that yoga has to offer in addition to the physical exercises.

About Govind Radhakrishnan:
Govind is born and raised in India. His spiritual development was sparked under the guidance of various spiritual masters from Himalaya to Tiruvannamalai. He communicates the traditional Indian Yoga philosophy that reaches beyond the physical asanas. Govind teaches yoga with the aim of strengthening the mind and increasing the life quality for his students and he helps them tailor their yoga practice according to their body-mind constitution as per ayurvedic and astrological principles. Govind is known for mixing his life wisdom with humour and for bridging the cultural differences between east and west.
